Is Miley still being Miley?

Just for a moment imagine Miley Cyrus with her tongue inside her mouth without ruby red lipstick.....

This is what was streaming across the Internet, and Cyrus actually looked extremely elegant and simplistic for once with minimum skin being exposed. This just reinforces her image to the public, she wants people to know that she can be anyone. She can be that classy girl, and she can be a corrupted hipster. Miley is the definition of a rebel, she is so authentic in the way she presents herself, and strays away from what society expects of her. No one expected Cyrus to be wearing this elegant dress, and that is why she in fact wore it. Just when everyone thought she was turning a corner she tweeted a picture that brought us back to her "former" rebellious self.

There is always going to be discussion of whether Cyrus should in a sense settle down, but this would mean her image is altered, making her someone she's not.

  1. I love her new image outside the mouth being outside her mouth. She is a talented young lady and could get away with lots of looks. She doesn't need to change her image or tone it down. I love the way she keeps the media guessing with her many looks.

  2. I love Mileys way of her expressing herself. She is a teenager and is still trying to find herself. People are really trying to bring her down I feel and they should just let her be twenty. One day she will grow up for now let her be.

  3. I feel like all the critics out there have a love/hate relationship with Miley Cyrus. They can't stand her, but then again, they can't wait to see what she does next. Cyrus clearly doesn't care about what the society thinks, and is 100% comfortable in her own skin: and that's hard to come by with celebrities these days.

  5. Again, this is an excellent public relation's stunt on her end. The media has been raving and craving over her for the last few weeks, people waiting, like a dog for a treat, on the edge of their seats. When you bring up Miley's name, people actually defend her. Why? Because Miley has personalized the "brand experience" between her and her audience. Informing them on what, where, how, why, and when events are taking place in her life. People feel as if they know Miley on a personal level, which is creating more buzz than ever before. If you thought Britney Spears was popular in her days of "Hit Me Baby One More Time," Miley's "Wrecking Ball" ranking has caught up to first place. Low cut school girl versus half naked teddy bear; the teddy bear has won.
